Founded in 1905 by Nonno Carlo Garrone (nonno = granpa, ndr), inventor of the secret recipe of the wellknown achovies. In this neat and quiet village on top of a 600 mt high hill, the old stone houses and castle in ruins remind us of the past, Medieval times. 

Grandaughter Teresa Garrone and her husband Bruno transformed the old canteen in 1972 making a very pleasent and characteristic restaurant out of it.
