2009 opens up with interesting news for Savini restaurant, starting from the new chef Matteo Torretta, chosen by Gatto family (Savini's owners) to lead the kitchen team. Born in Milan, Rho to be more precise, Torretta grew up professionally with international masters such as Gualtiero Marchesi, Giancarlo Perbellini, Antonio Cannavacciuolo, Martin Berasategui. With Matteo Torretta the traditional Lombardia cuisine has reconquered its highest honour.
